Freezing rain and snow for your Friday
Areas of drizzle and freezing drizzle will continue Friday afternoon. Temperatures are expected to warm to just above freezing for central and southern Nebraska Friday afternoon. That means there could be areas of drizzle, light rain mixed with snow. Freezing drizzle could continue in northern Nebraska for much of the afternoon. For tonight there will be a chance for more rain or snow showers and it will become windy.
Saturday will be cold and windy. Gusts of 40 to 50 mph will be possible, especially Saturday morning. Sunday and Monday will be mainly dry but cold.
Periods of drizzle and Freezing drizzle. Scattered light rain showers mixed with snow late in the day. Highs in the low to mid 30s. Southeast wind 15 to 20 mph with gusts up to 35 mph.
