From baseball to Globetrotters, plenty of events happening in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. - There's plenty of things to keep you entertained in Lincoln as we head into the weekend. It's another week of Friday Fast Facts. Here's a rundown of events in the city from the Lincoln Convention and Visitors Bureau.

49th Annual Boat, Sports & Travel Show
This is a must for outdoor enthusiasts and sportsmen. Lincoln's "three shows in one" features over 150,000 square feet of exhibition space on one level. There will be seminars and entertainment attractions for the sporting consumer.
When: Friday- noon to 9 p.m., Saturday- 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday- 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Where: Lancaster Event Center
Cost: $10 adults, $5 children (ages 5-12), free for children 4 and under, free admission for veterans on Friday

Nebraska Baseball Fan Fest
Fans this is your chance to meet the 2018 Huskers and get autographs. The first 1,000 fans will receive free water and hot dogs. There will also be games and inflatables set up. The end of the night will feature team introductions.
When: Friday- 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Where: Hawks Championship Center
Cost: Free

Harlem Globetrotters
Family fun, high-flying dunks and four-pointers. A star-studded roster will have fans on the edge of their seats to witness ball handling wizardry, basketball artistry and one-of-a-kind family entertainment.
When: Friday- 7 p.m.
Where: Pinnacle Bank Arena
Cost: $26, $32, $42, $52, $61, $86, free for children 2 & under

NWU Theatre Production presents Peter and the Starcatcher
You don't want to miss this production from NWU Theatre. This Peter Pan prequel is perfect for families. The Tony-winning play upends the century-old story of how an orphan become The Boy Who Wouldn't Grow Up.
When: Friday & Saturday- 7:30 p.m., Sunday- 2 p.m.
Where: NWU McDonald Theatre
Cost: $10 adults, $7.50 seniors & students

The Camille Metoyer Moten Jazz Band
Described as Omaha's most versatile singer, performing in styles ranging from opera to musical theater, jazz and gospel, Camille has clearly made a lasting mark on the city's music scene.
When: Friday- Doors open at 8:15 p.m., Show begins at 8:30 p.m.
Where: Boiler Grand Hall- 3rd floor of the Grand Manse
Cost: $10

Cupid's Glow Archery Fun Shoot
Valentine's Day is almost here and what goes better with the holiday than bows and arrows? Bring the family or a sweetheart and spend the afternoon practicing archery in the rosy glow of black lights.
When: Saturday- noon to 4 p.m.
Where: Nebraska Game and Parks Outdoor Education Center
Cost: $5 per youth (8 & up) per hour, $10 per adult per hour (equipment provided)
