Frost addresses rumors about future

LINCOLN, Neb. – University of Central Florida Head Coach Scott Frost spoke to the media Monday in Florida, and addressed rumors he may be coming to Nebraska to coach.

Frost spoke about reports he will become the next head coach of the Huskers after the American Athletic Conference championship game this Saturday, saying “I'm just not gonna talk about it. All I wanna talk about is this football team."

When asked about the interest the Huskers have reportedly showed in him, the 42-year-old former Nebraska quarterback added: “I'd be hurt if Nebraska wasn't interested in me. We're undefeated and I'm from there. When you win, a lot of people are interested in you, that doesn't matter. Like I said, what matters is these players and what they've accomplished. They deserve the focus to be on them."

Frost took over UCF last season, and in his second year, the Knights are 11-0 with a chance to make a New Year’s Six bowl.
