Girlfriend threatened with knife, man arrested in Hastings

HASTINGS, Neb (KSNB) - A Grand Island man was arrested in Hastings overnight Wednesday after threatening his girlfriend with a knife.

According to the Hastings Police Department, Michael Flores, 21, of Grand Island had the woman's hands and feet bound while holding a knife to her. He eventually let her go. The woman was not seriously injured. The incident happened at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday in the 1100 block of West H Street.

Flores was arrested on suspicion of 2nd Degree Domestic Assault, 1st Degree False Imprisonment, Terroristic Threats and Use of a Deadly Weapon to Commit a Felony. He was taken the Adams County Jail.
