Brad Anderson is learning about the Uptown Brewery in Stanton. The owners of the restaurant have been in the food service business for years, both in Norfolk and in Stanton.

The restaurant is known for having great buffets, and is really known around the area for great prime rib. But owners say they are now also working to provide lobster options to customers, prepared in several different ways. So, they say, the restaurant will not only be known for steaks but also for seafood.

Owners say they enjoy using organic products when possible, and they also like to source food from local producers.

Rosalind Lamson, who is a co-owner of the restaurant, says part of the movie "Nebraska" by Nebraska native and Hollywood movie director Alexander Payne was filmed at the Uptown Brewery. The restaurant features some memorabilia from the movie, and there's even a waitress that works at the restaurant that had a cameo appearance in the movie with some lines.
