LPD: Handgun stolen from Lincoln vehicle

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) A handgun was stolen from a vehicle parked outside a Lincoln home sometime overnight Tuesday or early Wednesday, according to the Lincoln Police Department.

On Wednesday, LPD said a man reported that he had left his handgun in the glovebox of his vehicle parked along the 2300 block of South 14th Street.

Police said victim discovered his gun was missing overnight and found no sign of forced entry.

The crime is said to have a total lost value of about $900.
