Husband and wife arrested in Sarpy County drug investigation

A husband and wife are facing charges after authorities turned up a variety of drugs at a Gretna business Thursday evening.

Isaac Grell, 37, is accused of Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Felony Child Abuse.

His wife, Jamie Grell, 39, is accused of Possession with Intent to Deliver a Controlled Substance and Felony Child Abuse.

Shortly before 5:30 P.M. Thursday, the Sarpy County Sheriff’s Office Narcotics Unit and the Omaha Metro Drug Task Force served a court authorized search warrant on the business known as NE-Thing Smokin’ Glass Shop at 103 Cort Plz in Gretna. Isaac Grell is identified as the owner of the business.

The Sheriff's Office says a search revealed approximately one pound of processed Marijuana, approximately one pound of T.H.C. wax, psychedelic mushrooms, approximately four ounces of suspected Hashish, baggies and scales. Two loaded semi-automatic handguns and one loaded revolver were also seized.

Investigators said that a search of the Grell residence near 168th and Giles Rd. turned up a marijuana grow operation in the basement that contained nine mature plants, additional processed marijuana, grow lights, fertilizer, and butane processing equipment utilized to produce the THC wax.

Authorities also seized $800 in cash.

Two children were home at the time the search was initiated.
