Husker fans support Team Jack Foundation's 5k/1 mile fun run in large numbers.

Early Sunday morning, Husker fans came out in large numbers for the uplifting athletes run benefitting the Team Jack Foundation’s battle against Pediatric Brain cancer.

Runners were given the option to run a one mile fun run or a full five k run. Kids had the opportunity to snap photos and grab autographs from their favorite Husker Football players. Back in 2013 Jack Hoffman made his unforgettable 69-yard touchdown run. Since then, the Nebraska football program has taken up the cause and gone on a run of their own.

The Team Jack Foundation was also nominated as one of four finalists for the NASCAR Foundation Betty Jane France Award. The winner of the award will receive a $100,000 donation to their foundation. Team Jack needs your votes to win.
