Hyperbowling Premiers in Lincoln

LINCOLN, (Neb.) The next generation of bowling is here and you can only find it in Lincoln at Sun Valley Lanes.

Hyperbowling is a new type of bowling where bowlers aim their balls at the lit up bumpers before trying to knock down pins. Sun Valley Lanes has been a beta tester for this new type of game and on Monday the alley premiered the game with a party.

Sun Valley Lanes owner, John Losito said this game will change the history of bowling. “Bowling has been the same since day one. Since the Egyptians played it thousands of years ago, where there was a penalty if the ball didn’t go towards the pins. That penalty is now gone. It’s really revolutionary for the game of bowling.” said Losito.

Sun Valley Lanes has been working with the international company QuibicaAMF to try out this new type of bowling, but officials say bowlers can expect to see alleys across the country to start providing this type of game in the years to come.
