LINCOLN, Neb. - An interlock system helped Lincoln Police arrest three people for a burglary.

Police said JL Exteriors, located at 3900 S. 6th Street, was burglarized on Jan. 28.

The suspects broke out the front door, and stole a safe from the business.

Authorities reviewed surveillance video, and noticed the vehicle used during the burglary had an interlock system installed. The interlock system provided authorities with a time stamp and a location, leading police to three suspects.

Russell Westerfield, 40, and Andrew Spike, 36, were arrested for burglary, while Kristin Talbert, 34, was arrested for accessory to a crime.

Police said truck with the interlock system was registered to Spike, and the stolen safe has been recovered.
