LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -- The International House of Pancakes is now the International House of Burgers. After much anticipation, IHOB announced the "b" stands for burgers.
The restaurant chain posted the announcement to Twitter on Monday morning with a video and said, "Dear Internet, we abbreciate your batience. Now let’s see who guessed right. B-hold!!!!!"
According to CNN, the change is only temporary. It is only a marketing campaign and IHOP isn't officially changing its name.
It's adding several burgers to its menu, including a Big Brunch burger with bacon, a fried egg and browned potato on top.
"We are definitely going to be IHOP," Darren Rebelez, president of IHOP, told CNNMoney. "But we want to convey that we are taking our burgers as seriously as our pancakes."
