Intoxicated man arrested for lighting bottle rockets off in his home

LINCOLN, Neb. – Lincoln Police said an intoxicated man was arrested Wednesday for lighting bottle rockets in his home and being uncooperative with officers.

LPD said around 4 p.m., officers contacted Christopher Vance, 37, near 15th and D streets.

Witnesses told police Vance was intoxicated and breaking bottles in front of his home and lighting off bottle rockets.

Police said officers arrived and observed Vance still lighting off the bottle rockets, and when they asked him to stop, he refused.

He then continued to be uncooperative, police said, and he was arrested for disturbing the peace and using bottle rockets in the city.
