Body found outside Starbucks in central Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) -- Lincoln Police confirm the body of an adult male was found outside the Starbucks at 33rd and O Streets in central Lincoln.

As of Friday afternoon, police said there was no foul play involved.

Lincoln Police were called to the scene around 6:20 AM on Friday after a Starbucks employee found the body.

According to Lincoln Police Captain Don Scheinost, the body was found in or near a dumpster behind the store. Clothing was also found in the area.

Captain Scheinost said they are working to identify the man and determine his cause of death.

Investigators are working with nearby businesses to review security footage.

Starbucks reopened at 11 a.m. on Friday.
