LPD: Man meets up with woman he met at gas station, gets robbed at gunpoint

Lincoln Police said a 52-year-old man was robbed at gunpoint after meeting up with a woman he originally met at a gas station.

It happened on April 11th, shortly before 8:30 p.m. at a home near W South and SW 9th Street.

The victim told police he got a text from the woman telling him to meet him at her home. LPD said when he arrived, he was robbed at gunpoint by an unknown man.

Police said the man took his wallet, phone and $80 cash before the victim fled the building and flagged down a car to ask for help.
