LPD searching for suspects after pair of larcenies

LINCOLN, Neb. – Lincoln Police are investigating multiple thefts from businesses that were reported on the same day.

LPD said on January 7, the owner of a tree service company in Lincoln discovered four vehicles had been broken into and multiple tools were missing.

LPD said there was $350 in damage to the trucks, and $7,700 worth of tools were taken.

In addition, that same day LPD took a report from the owner of Slate-ish, after they discovered someone had stolen a Glodgett oven, a steel beam, and a podium.

The oven was valued at $500, and the podium was valued at $1,000.

The owner told police the oven weighed over 500 pounds, and it would take multiple people to lift it.
