Lincoln Police investigating after hydrants opened overnight

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Police are looking for information after at least six fire hydrants were opened and turned on Thursday morning.

Lincoln Police said around 1:50 a.m. on Thursday morning officers were called to the 600 Block of Marshall Avenue.

They discovered a fire hydrant had been opened up, causing the basement of a nearby home to flood.

Police said hydrants were also opened up near 31st and J streets and 79th and Holdrege.

LPD does not know who is responsible but they are asking anyone with information to call police at 402-441-6000.
