Car stolen at gunpoint found in creek

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A vehicle stolen at gunpoint on Wednesday morning has been found crashed in a creek in Lincoln

Authorities confirmed the 2015 Nissan Sentra stolen in the area of 42nd and Holdrege around 12:30 a.m. was found crashed at 27th and Arbor Road.

A 1011 reporter on scene said authorities have the area blocked off.

Early Tuesday morning, police said the victims were driving in the area of 42nd and Holdrege around 12:30 a.m. when they were approached by a man with a gun.

The suspect told the victims to get out of the car and then took the vehicle.
