Lincoln city council, mayoral candidate forum happening Tuesday

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln residents, you're invited to attend a forum Tuesday night featuring both mayoral and city council candidates.

They will convene on March 26 to discuss key issues facing the city, and what they will do to address them if elected.

City council candidates James Michael Bowers, Taylor Wyatt, Megan Stock, Mike James, Richard Meginnis, Jane Raybould, Colten Zamrzla, Tammy Ward, Cassey Lottman, and Reshell Ray have committed to attending the event.

Mayoral candidates Leirion Gaylor Baird, Jeff Kirkpatrick and Rene Solc said they will also attend.

This forum provides a chance for voters to get to know the candidates and how they will handle issues facing the city.

Questions will encompass a wide range of environmental issues in order to give the most informative experience for those attending.

The event begins at 6 p.m. at Firefighter's Reception Hall, located at 241 Victory Lane in Lincoln.

This forum is put on by a coalition of organizations in Lincoln.

It's free and open to the public.
