LINCOLN, Neb. — A 43-year-old Lincoln man was sentenced to prison time on Thursday for sexually abusing a minor.

Frank Fichtner pleaded no contest and was sentenced to 14-20 years in prison.

He and his wife, Gwyneth Fichtner, were arrested in February of last year after the girl disclosed the abuse to a teacher at Lincoln High School, who then alerted police. She said it had gone on for three months.

Fichtner will also be required to register as a sex offender. He was given credit for the 321 days he’s already served in prison.

Gwyneth Fichtner pleaded no contest to a child abuse charge, a Class 3A felony, and is set to be sentenced Feb. 1.
