Lincoln's Music Scene Continues to Grow
Some of the Grammy Stars will be performing in Lincoln. Justin Bieber, Carrie Underwood, and Blake Shelton are just some of the stars coming to the Capital City.
As the music scene continues to grow most of the venues are crediting the city's reputation.
So far this year the Zoo Bar has already sold out one show, while the Bourbon Theater has sold out a few.
"I know that last year it was close to 10, this year I'm guessing we are going to be over 10 sold out shows," said Bourbon Theater Promotional Director, Arron Galvin.
The Pinnacle Bank Arena and Pinewood Bowl Theater are also seeing a growing trend. Both have big names coming to Lincoln, Pinewood Bowl just announced country group Alabama will perform in August.
"People really like to come out and see music, they are coming out more and more, its been fun to see Lincoln grow as a music city," said Pinnacle Bank General Manager, Tom Lorenz.
All the venues credit their success on each other for keeping a good reputation in the music industry.
"We just do whatever we can to treat the artist right, and we get a really good reputation through that," said Galvin.
"Production people, and the managers know about Lincoln so they're very comfortable scheduling those shows out here," said Lorenz
From that reputation all the venues we spoke with say this will be there best year yet.
