VFW Harris-Fraley Post 131 was charted a brief time after World War l ended and the post has called a variety of Lincoln locations it's home over the past century. But no matter where they've met, what has always remained the same is the special shared bond of being true American heroes.

Tony Anton is the commander of VFW Post 131, "Our post has over 600 members and our auxiliary has over 270 members."

This Exeter native says there are more than 15,000 VFW members in Nebraska, "I take a lot of pride in being the commander of Veterans Foreign War Post 131, there's a lot of great posts all across the state, all across the nation for that matter."

Tony says that a lot of planning went into Friday nights celebration banquet, "We're going to start out 5 o'clock with a little cocktail hour and then from there we'll have the meal and then we'll have a program where we'll review the history of the post and recognize different people and some of the accomplishments of the post and the impact they had on the community."
