Lincoln Police arrested a 29-year-old after he allegedly broke into an auto body shop and was found hiding behind a water heater.

LPD said on September 9, shortly before 5 a.m., officers responded to an alarm at Skorohod Auto, located at 6236 Vine Street.

There were signs of forced entry through a broken garage door, police said.

Inside, officers found Lenn Farley Jr. hiding behind a water heater in a stairwell.

Farley was holding a bag of coins that were removed from a cash register, and a loaded .45 handgun was also located on a nearby shelf.

Farly was arrested for burglary and a felon in possession of a firearm.
