Man pulled from sewer near Antelope Valley and N Street

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Lincoln Fire and Rescue responded to reports of a man who was stuck in a sewer on Tuesday.

Emergency crews were called around 5:52 p.m. to Antelope Valley and N Street.

According to authorities, a man in his 20s was stuck in the sewer right under the manhole. The man was in the hole for about 24 hours, and it took roughly 30 minutes to get him out.

According to LFR, the man may have had mental complications, and also had his bike down there.

Someone heard the man yelling for help and called 911, prompting the rescue response.
