LINCOLN, Neb. – A man was shot at by a group of people on Thursday morning when he approached their car to see if they needed help, police said.
According to LPD, on Thursday morning around 4:30 a.m., a 21-year-old man told police he saw a vehicle stopped in the street on North 22nd between O and P streets.
The man said he went to check if the vehicle had broken down, and noticed four people standing nearby. The group go in the vehicle and drove away, the man told police.
However, the car stopped again, and as the victim drove by someone fired shots at him from inside the vehicle.
When police contacted the man, there were four bullet holes in the rear of his vehicle and 11 casings were located in the street.
