LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - The next chance for snowfall accumulation arrives Tuesday and continues into Wednesday morning as a strong upper level disturbance moves through the region. Light to moderate snowfall accumulations are possible in Central and Western Nebraska. In Eastern Nebraska, moderate to heavy accumulations are possible. Models indicate the Lincoln area could pick up 5-6" of snow.

There is a slight chance of snow on Thursday before our chance of precipitation picks up again for Friday and Saturday as an upper level trough moves across the area. Rain, wintry mix and snow are possible during that time period.

Temperatures look to be below average with highs in the 20s and 30s and lows mainly in the low teens to low 20s.
