Mother of three devasted after father of her children killed

A mother of three is devastated after the father of her children was shot and killed in Lincoln Monday.

Lincoln Police confirm 32-year-old Christopher Coleman was killed on Euclid Avenue.

Toni Bush, the mother of Coleman's Children, said "He was a great man. He did everything for his family. His kids came first before anything. He made sure they had what they needed. He made sure I had what I needed."

Bush's three children were inside the home at the time of the shooting, they were not injured. A family dog was killed.

Bush doesn't know anyone who would've targeted Coleman. "As far as I know, he didn't have problems with anybody. He helped everybody, that's who he was. That's his demeanor. He always had a smile on his face. No matter how hard his day was going, and now he's gone."

Lincoln Police have not released a suspect description. Police tell 1011 News they believe the shooting was related to drug activity.

Bush said, "I just hope justice is served and the man who did this is held responsible."
