Crew members for the Nebraska Public Power District are coming back to Nebraska after being sent to Florida to help with Hurricane Dorian.

According to NPPD, the 18 that headed to Florida to pre-stage for Hurricane Dorian were released by the Orlando Utilities Commission Tuesday due to a slowdown and shift in the direction of the storm.

The crew was pulling out of Orlando Tuesday morning and is expected to be in Macon, Ga., Tuesday evening, although NPPD alerted other utilities of the availability of the crew if needed.
