LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Its a big week as the second largest indoor agriculture show is back in Lincoln for its 12th year.
The Nebraska Power Farming Show began Tuesday at the Lancaster Event Center and continues through Thursday. Organizers say the show could bring in an expected 25,000 visitors over the course of the three-day show.
There are 900 booths set up that include some of the latest farm equipment in the industry.
With agriculture being the number one industry in Nebraska, staff says the show helps bring visitors from all over Nebraska to the capital city.
"We've heard from hotels in Lincoln that this show makes their month in December. I was at a hotel just earlier this week and was talking to them about how the show's impact and they said they only have three rooms available," said Hoyt Kraeger with the Lancaster Event Center.
The show will continue to be held until Thursday and doors are open from 8:30 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m. There is free parking and admission is free.
