Police cruiser vandalized causing 2K in damage

LINCOLN, Neb. – Lincoln Police are investigating after $2,000 in damage was caused to an LPD cruiser that was vandalized at the Crisis Center.

Police said the cruiser was parked at the Crisis Center in a typical location, when vandals threw rocks at it, breaking the windshield.

The windshield wipers were also torn off and the side mirrors were broken.

Police said total damage is estimated at $2,000.
