OMAHA, Neb. (AP) -- Authorities say a suspect has been arrested in the fatal shooting of a man on the south side of Omaha.
Police say the suspect matched a witness description and was seen entering a vehicle early Thursday morning near where the shooting occurred Wednesday afternoon.
Officers soon stopped the vehicle and took the suspect into custody.
He's been booked into jail on suspicion of second-degree murder. Court records don't show that he's been formally charged yet.
Police say the shooting victim, 32-year-old Matthew Johnson, died after being taken to Nebraska Medical Center.
