Update: Police searching for vehicle involved in hit-and-run

LINCOLN, Neb. - Lincoln Police are searching for a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run Friday morning that left a pedestrian with life-threatening injuries.

According to LPD, the vehicle struck the person near 13th and M streets around 10:22 a.m. on Friday. The truck appeared to be a newer four-door GMC Truck pulling a jetski.

LPD posted photos of the truck in question hoping to find the driver.

"If you are going to be out about at the lakes or you were there earlier today and this vehicle looks familiar to you please give us a call," said Angela Sands of Lincoln Police. "You can leave anonymous tips and be eligible for a cash reward."

The pedestrian, a man in his early 20s, was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. Currently, he is in critical but stable condition.
