Project Pink’d, Inc. and Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel have partnered to make the burden a little easier for those going through treatment and in financial need this holiday season.

On Sunday, November 11 from 12 pm to 3 pm, Project Pink’d will host their second annual “Care to Share Thanksgiving” luncheon in the Renaissance Room at The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel.

Guests arriving at noon for registration and social hour will be warmly welcomed to the second-floor balcony by local music therapist and harpist, Jennifer Buehler, of Lincolnharper Music Therapy, LLC who will play until 1 p.m.

Up to 100 breast cancer survivors will enjoy a delicious, complimentary, Thanksgiving luncheon in the company of new friends, connect with other survivors and hear inspirational stories from survivors who are now thriving – all in an intimate and relaxing atmosphere where they can enjoy peace and a bit of respite.

At the conclusion of the event, each guest will take home an additional complimentary Thanksgiving meal for four. These complimentary meals are house-made in the Cornhusker Marriott’s kitchen, and are carefully pre-cooked and packaged frozen for survivors to share in the comfort of their homes, with their loved ones, on Thanksgiving Day; all they need to do is simply reheat the meal and enjoy.

Through generous contributions, Project Pink’d is proud to offer this program free to pre-registered breast cancer survivors. Space is limited and registration is required at

“Project Pink’d made a difference for me! It was so helpful to hear from the women who have walked this path. My next round of chemo is Tuesday before Thanksgiving. I️ wasn’t cooking turkey for my kids, now I️ can. Thank you.”

–Sharon, 2017 Care to Share Thanksgiving Participant

This complimentary luncheon is available to breast cancer survivors in Nebraska and Western Iowa and is made possible by the many generous donors and supporters including event partners The Lincoln Marriott Cornhusker Hotel and Mission Maven Marketing, LLC.
