LINCOLN, Neb. — Spectra by Comcast Spectacor, which provides Venue Management at the Railyard announced Tuesday that the Railyard Ice Rink will host its Grand Opening & Holiday Fair on Friday, December 7th at 5 p.m.
Public ice skating is open Monday-Thursday from 5-9 p.m., Fridays from 5 p.m. to midnight, Saturdays from noon to midnight, and Sundays from noon to 9 p.m. Admission is free if you have your own skates, or you can rent skates for $9 for adults and $6 for kids.
In addition to skating, several other events are scheduled to take place at the Ice Rink this month, including movie nights, a Skate with Santa Night, and more. The Railyard also teamed with The Boys & Girls Club of Lincoln/Lancaster County this season, and will be collecting new gifts for school aged children and their families on behalf of The Boys & Girls Club.
In January, the rink will be closed on Mondays for Broomball League through February 20th, and hours are subject to change due to weather or special events.
