Rental car argument ends in assault, damage to office

GRAND ISLAND, Neb (KSNB) -- A Gordon, NE man is under arrest after using a stun gun on an employee of a Grand Island rental car business.

Police say Steven Gusman, 42, of Gordon, was involved in a dispute over the return of a deposit for a rental car. When he the argument turned into a physical fight, Gusman held a stun gun to the worker at the Enterprise Rent-a-Car office. He also threatened the man with a knife.

Another employee was able to help subdue the man and hold him until police arrived.

Gusman is charged with Second-degree Assault, Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony, Terroristic Threats and Criminal Mischief.

Gusman also caused an estimated $5,000 in damage to the office.
