LANCASTER COUNTY -- Highway 34 has reopened after a crash east of Eagle on Thursday morning.

Rescue crews were called to the scene near the Highway 34 and Highway 63 junction just after 7:45 a.m.

According to the Nebraska State Patrol, there were no life-threatening injuries, but Eagle Fire and Rescue confirms patients were transported from the scene.

In a tweet from NSP, investigators say one of the cars was attempting a U-turn when the path was not clear, and the driver of the oncoming vehicle couldn't see because of the sun.
