Runza employees find stolen firearm

LINCOLN, Neb. – Lincoln Police said a stolen gun was found by Runza employees when they were picking up up trash near the restaurant.

LPD said the rifle, stolen from an unlocked truck on Dec. 2, was found on Monday shortly after 2 p.m.

Police said the manager of Runza on West O street said employees found the stolen gun in the grass just east of the Runza parking lot.

The employees were picking up trash when they found the gun, police said.
