Scotts Bluff County Courthouse offering first floor accommodations during repairs

GERING, Neb. (KNEP) The Scotts Bluff County Courthouse elevator will be out of commission for a few weeks, but all services will be available. The courthouse has set up first floor office space to accommodate persons who aren’t able to use the stairs.

According to Scottsbluff County Sheriff, Mark Overman, the repairs should take about 3-4 weeks. Call ahead and set up an appointment if you would prefer to use services on the first floor.
And to schedule accessible court proceedings, contact the courts ahead of time. The Scotts Bluff County Administration Building will be available for District and County Court proceedings.
