UPDATE: Body of hunter recovered from Sherman County Reservoir

Sherman County, Neb. (KSNB) - The body of a hunter who fell out of a boat at the Sherman County Reservoir was recovered on Friday. The body of 21-year-old Anthony Dush from St. Paul was located and recovered at approximately 9 p.m.

Dush and a friend went duck hunting Friday when their boat tipped over in the Sherman County Reservoir. The friend was able to swim to a nearby cabin and call for help.

Rescue efforts began on Friday at 6:30 a.m. to search for Dush. Several emergency agencies helped with the search, including the Burwell Dive Team and more than 100 volunteers.

An investigation of the incident is ongoing.
