State Fire Marshal investigating fire at Tyson Foods facility in Tecumseh

A fire is under investigation at a Tyson Foods facility in Tecumseh.

In 2018, Tyson Foods purchased Tecumseh Poultry LLC, which owns Smart Chicken and has locations in Waverly and Tecumseh.

The State Fire Marshal's Office confirmed there was a fire in Tecumseh late Friday night in a chicken barn. The fire remains under investigation by the State Fire Marshal's Office.
