State Speech begins Thursday in Kearney

KEARNEY, Neb. - Students from across the state will be making their way to Kearney for the NSAA Speech Championship.

The two-day event kicks off Thursday, March 23 on the University of Nebraska at Kearney campus.

Students who compete in Class A, B and C1 will perform on Thursday. The awards will be given in the evening between 4:30 p.m. and 6 p.m.

Students who compete in Class C2, D1 and D2 will have their chance to show the judges what they can do on Friday.

The Speech Headquarters will be at the Health and Sports Center. That is also were awards will be given out.
