Summer learning for adults at Southeast Community College

LINCOLN, Neb. - If you're looking to pick up a new hobby or master a skill, one of Southeast Community College's continuing education courses could be for you.

The courses run throughout the summer and into the fall. With dozens of topics to choose from, adults can choose a class based on their own specific interests.

This week on First News Nebraska, 10-11's Natalie Micale will be previewing some of the classes and giving viewers an inside look on what they may learn, if they were to take one.

Tuesday morning, 10-11's Natalie Micale learned about "K-9 Cardio Companions", offered by Southeast Community College at Kenl Inn. You can hear from the class instructor Dian Quist, by clicking on one of the videos above.

Wednesday morning, Natalie Micale interviewed Joshua Harvey, who teaches "Biohacking Your Body,"a class about how to use fitness trackers.

Thursday morning, Natalie Micale interviewed two instructors. Sara Leonard, who teaches Barn Wood Decor and My Heart Is In Nebraska and Jacque Armstrong, who teaches a basic floral arrangement course.

Friday morning, Natalie Micale interviewed Kat Kreikemeier, an instructor who teaches "Freezer Meal Frenzy." To hear what's in her recipes in the class, you can click on the videos above.
