Teen tied up, robbed in Lincoln

LINCOLN, Neb. – Lincoln Police said a 16-year-old was robbed at his home after he was hit in the head from behind and threatened with a rifle.

LPD said on July 9, the teenager reported he was robbed at his home in the 8200 Block of Joshua Drive a few days earlier.

The victim said he arrived home at midnight on July 6, and opened the door to go inside when he was struck from behind and knocked down.

The teen said three unknown men then hit him multiple times and threatened him with a rifle, eventually tying his hands behind his back with duct tape.

The victim then said the men stole shoes and an Xbox gaming console. The 16-year-old’s guardians were home at the time but did not hear anything, police said.
