Teens caught throwing rocks from bridge, hitting vehicle on I-80

LINCOLN, Neb. – Two teens were caught by authorities throwing rocks off a bridge onto Interstate 80 and striking a westbound pickup truck.

According to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office, two teenagers were caught by deputies throwing rocks off the Arbor Road Bridge around 4:15 p.m. on Sunday.

LSO said a pickup truck was driving westbound when the driver reported his hood and windshield was damaged by an object thrown from a bridge.

The driver told authorities he saw two people running south of the bridge.

LSO eventually located two 15-year-old suspects, and who were referred to juvenile court for criminal mischief.

$500 in damage was caused to the vehicle.
