The Patriot Fleet adds new members

Crete Carriers Patriot Fleet program began in 2012 to honor veterans from all branches of the armed services and represent the more than 1,400 employees with military service who work for Crete Carrier Corporation as drivers, office staff and shop technicians.

Crete Carrier honored five of their truck drivers Friday morning by wrapping brand new semi trucks in a patriotic theme that was personalized for each driver as the dog tag described each veterans military service.

Tim Aschoff is the president and COO of Crete Carrier, "The patriot fleet is our way of recognizing the veterans here at Crete Carrier but also the veterans across the company by having these trucks out on the road showing the public, the American citizens the gratitude that should be shown to people, both men and women just like these."

Together the five new members of the patriot fleet have nearly 80 years of combined service and they can't wait to get out on the road and show off their new trucks.

Crete Carrier is proud to hire veterans, so it should come as no surprise that Crete Carrier has been recognized as a top 100 military-friendly employer in America.
