LINCOLN, Neb. -- Tuesday marks day ten of the two week USA Roller Sports National Championships hosted in Lincoln.
More than 1,000 roller skaters from age six to 83 are competing in the final round of qualifying events at 5 p.m Tuesday. The winners will secure spots in the World Roller Games.
Ashley Clifford is one of the skaters advancing. Clifford is the 2017 Junior World Class Women's Free Skating National Champion. She competed Tuesday morning against 17 girls. In her long and short programs, she says her routines include a double axel, a Salchow and a triple toe loop.
The 2017 World Championships will start August 27 in Nanjing, China.
