Three arrested after being pulled over in stolen vehicle

LINCOLN, Neb. – Three people were arrested after officers pulled over a stolen vehicle and multiple pipes and a syringe with meth was found. A 9-year-old child was also in the vehicle.

LPD said on Thursday around 9 a.m. officers were in the area the 2900 Block of NW 12th Street, when an officer ran a license plate on a blue pickup that came back stolen.

Officers pulled the vehicle over and made contact with the driver, Yannidies Brown.

Inside the car, three glass pipes with pot residue and one pipe with meth residue were found.

Officers also learned the vehicle was stolen out of California and was valued at $40,000.

Two other people inside the vehicle, Crystal Arauja, and Jose Campos were arrested after being found with a loaded syringe with meth.

LPD said the suspects were traveling from California to New York with a 9-year-old.
