LINCOLN, Neb. – Three University of Nebraska owned trail cameras have been stolen over the past month, Lincoln Police said.

The first camera went missing on Nov. 28 when a student was running a project in the wooded area of the Jim Ager Golf Course.

The camera, which was inside a metal case with a UNL logo on it, was set up to capture film of a fox in the area.

Two other cameras, another at Jim Ager and one at Bethany Park, were stolen on Dec. 25.

Each camera, known as a Moultrie Camera, is worth $400.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact authorities.
