Towel drive for People's City Mission

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - If you have new or gently used towels laying around, Don't Panic Labs could use your help.

It's all part of its drive that benefits the People's City Mission.

Don't Panic Labs started the drive a few years ago and chose the mission as the recipient.

This year, they are hoping to collect over 2,000 towels.

Pastor Tom with the mission tells 10/11 NOW, the mission goes through thousands of towels every year costing thousands of dollars and this drive makes a huge impact.

"Really an important thing. You know, when you don't have a towel, I mean you notice it. It's the little stuff when you're struggling or homeless or struggling financially, those things really matter,” said Pastor Tom.

The drive runs through May 24th and you can drop off any towels at the mission, its help center, Don't Panic Labs, City Impact, or Allo.

Pastor Tom says a little drive like this helps the mission run.
