HASTINGS, Neb. (KSNB) The 10th annual Tri-City Food Fight is now in the books and, for the second year in a row, the Hastings Museum has come out the winner of this competitive food drive between three tri-city museums. The final totals are:
Hastings Museum – 7,143 lbs of food
Stuhr – 4,288 lbs of food
Archway – 2,390 lbs of food
Even though Stuhr came in second place, this represents the most food ever raised during this event by museum patrons! Overall, during the month of December, the three museums raised over six tons (over 13,000 pounds) of food for local pantries. Over the past few years this event has grown significantly and museum officials are looking forward to see what we can accomplish in 2019.
