Two Lincoln men arrested as part of human trafficking detail

LINCOLN, Neb. – Police said two Lincoln men were arrested as part of a multi-agency human trafficking detail over the weekend.

According to Lincoln Police, the department partnered with the Omaha Police Department, the Douglas County Sherriff’s Office, the Council Bluffs Police Department, and the FBI for the detail.

According to LPD, three men and five women were arrested.

Matthew Turner, 49, of Lincoln, was arrested for soliciting a prostitute, while Terry Williams, 36, of Lincoln, was arrested for pandering and tampering with physical evidence.

Fernando Paz, 33, of Omaha, was arrested for electronic enticement after he communicated with an investigator online. The investigator posed as a 15-year-old female and Paz agreed to travel to Lincoln to pay for sex with a 15-year-old.

Five women were also taken into custody.
